Nope, which is why a lot of people are now telling you to make a trip to the charity in question, and donate directly, instead of donating to somebody collecting money for a charity.
Good thing too. All those 3% mount up. I really hope most are donating direct rather than through Spymac or others like them (taking a cut).

I am trying verify if data recovery is possible on a customers Macbook Air a1304 hard drive. Since Apple decided to use that 1.8" drive I am trying to find an adapter that will work in a desktop SATA or IDE that isn't some ridiculous price. The Air had water spilled on it so it will not turn on nor do I have another air to test it in.
From what I can find the Air uses a 1.8" ZIF drive. Would this ZIF CE 1.8 Microdrive to 3.5 40pin adapte (http://www.amazon.com/ZIF-1-8-Micro-Drive-Adapter/dp/B004AXDA82)r work. Perhaps this Toshiba 1.8 ZIF to 2.5 IDE (http://www.amazon.com/Toshiba-1-8-Zif-2-5-Connector/dp/B0018S9RQG) (I have an external enclosure that works with the 2.5 IDE). I also found this external USB enclosure (http://www.amazon.com/Aluminum-Enclosure-1-8-inch-Toshiba-Connector/dp/B0037FR27E/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1302904126&sr=8-2). Inspired by a user's thread who is unhappy with the way their KB backlight works (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=1130722), I decided to play with the Ambient Light Sensor and KB backlight on my MBP.
I was a bit disappointed to see that unlike under W7 (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd318953(v=vs.85).aspx)there is no official API to access the sensor data. Really?
Anyhow, I quickly found this code: http://osxbook.com/book/bonus/chapter10/light/ and various comments around that it doesn't work anymore. A bit more digging led to this code: http://google-mac-qtz-patches.googlecode.com/svn-history/r5/trunk/AmbientLightSensor which does actually work and allowed me to whip this up.

Hi all,
Just curious to see how many have a apple laptop and and Ipad. Work just bought me a MBP last week and I already have a Ipad 2. Just trying to justify the two, maybe I sell the ipad 2 because I have to keep the laptop. By the way, I love both of them...I use the Ipad 2 for reading books, magazines etc...

to be frank, i would wait for the new computer which will have imovie11 bundled. i have no idea what early versions of imovie do to footage on import, but it's probably not nice. If you were using FCP it wouldn't be an issue.
fyi, mpeg4 is h.264 (kind of). h.264 is actually mpeg4 part 10, but the terms are often used interchangeably. Both however, are delivery formats.
I would import as DV since it would be the native tape based format and has less compression.

Something is up on your end, Parallels six is working fine on my iMac i3 with only 4GB of ram, and your macbook pro is way more powerful. Maybe you need to increase the resources you're giving to the virtual machines?

Can you actually do me a favor? On your computer, locate this file:
/library/logs/console/501/console.log
This is a file into which log information is written by the system continuously whenever it is on and you are logged in. Can you put it to sleep, and then wake it in the manner which causes your kb to not work? Then look at this file. What we're interested in is whatever is entered in the log immediately during sleep onset and then waking and up to the time that your kb starts working again... it might help explain this. If you can get that part and post it here, it might help.
Otherwise, you might also try standard things such as repairing permissions, and so on, but I'm not sure if they will help or not. :( It could be that a botched permission on a kernel extension or something else needed to activate the KB again is causing the delay.

got a 40gb ipod myself but the shuffle would be great as it only costs �99 for the 1gb version and i could afford to abuse it a bit more ! rather than protecting it to death like my ipod.

Under the iChat preferences on the Video tab, at the bottom there is an option for audio from the internal mic or Line-in. It may say none too if you don't have an internal I think.
