I have searched for the last 2 hours and have yet to find a solution that has worked for me.
I am using lockinfo and the lockinfo weather plugin. From what I have read, since we are on ipad, we are needing to overwrite the default weather app (since we dont have one). using the yahoo configuration. I put my location in USTX0617|12791340 (houston). and it is still not working. Can anyone out there help? This is driving me crazy.

You're just not making a lot of sense to me either. It sounds like you are saying you have four components; vehicles, model, year, engine. Maybe your example mistakenly leads me to that conclusion. Your first post clearly says you have two components.
If by labels you mean the value that is selectable, than please refer to that as a component title, as that corresponds to the method name;

Put in the notebook? Don't think there are any options for that...think you'd be stuck with an external at this point. I'm not overly familiar with the current available products, but I recall seeing mention of them online recently, I think on TUAW. A search of the forums and/or Google should get you going. But it's probably not going to be your ideal of an integrated solution or a super portable option, unfortunately.

I think this is because Jobs is all over the downloadable content thing. Apple WAS slated to have blu-ray support as much as a year ago, but he must be letting the whole thing go to the side hoping people will get their HD media via download only.

First of all - it takes up HD space that not everyone wants to use on movies. Second of all, some of still like to own the physical disk with the box/disk art. You can take the movie to a friends house, whatever - its not stored up on some hard drive. Optical media is not going away anytime soon.
Still leaning towards the Mac but all of a sudden the Vaio or Dell with blu-ray option looks a helluva lot more appealing than it did. And I really wanted to break from Windows.

I just called the post office and they said ~$8 to 10 US to ship it First Class international, so you can sortof figure that into the price.
[below does not imply anything about fpar above, I thought I'd just be upfront about this since international shipping is being discussed]
Also, for any international lurkers in the thread, I'm not interested in marking the item in a way to dodge customs--you'll have to work that out yourself. I don't know if that applies for First Class International, but I thought I should just say that outright.

To sue someone, you have to know who they are so you can serve them. What's Apple going to do, sue comex? chpwn? Apple doesn't know who they are. Sony knew who geohot was because he's an attention whore.

I expect George hasn't made efforts to hide his identity for two reasons:
1) He's not doing anything illegal, so why should he have to hide
2) "Hiding" is largely futile anyway. I expect the FBI probably already know who comex and chpwn are.

Go to Macromedia's website and download a free 30 day trial of Dreamweaver. The interface is easy to understand. The color coding text makes looking at the code alot easier. And, you can preview pretty much instantly what you've done, so you can toy around with the code to see what everything does. Good way to learn. I learned on Dreamweaver(pirated), then went to notepad when i re-evaluated my morals, and then went back to buy dreamweaver for mac when i switched over. If there's a notepad-equivalent for macintosh, you can probably use it for webpages once you've learned html for about a month.

As for my friend, we have known each other since kindergarten (now in our 30s) and I originally offered to give it to him for free but he insisted on paying a fair-market price.
I wouldn't sell it to a friend. Help him find a seller instead.

It does not matter if iMovie2 saved it as DV or iMovie5 saved it as DV, right?
It's coming out of the ADVC300 as DV and iMovie is simply saving that as a file on your computer.
to be frank, i would wait for the new computer which will have imovie11 bundled. i have no idea what early versions of imovie do to footage on import, but it's probably not nice.
It's the newer versions of iMovie that "do stuff" to your video on import. The last version of iMovie I used was '06, and that would import DV like a file transfer from tape to hard drive. You'd need to fetch the fainting salts if you were to tell me '05 and earlier meddled with DV footage on import.
